This sign is called Tashdid which is used to join a letter twice and also
used for joining one word with another. For example, see bleow two words
‘Mulku‘ & ‘Samawati‘ joined by blue Tashdid as Mulkussamawati, also letter ‘seen‘ is pronounced twice for Tashdid above it.
